Text Box: After the meeting, several residents remained to speak with the officers. A common suggestion of residents is to have the association create some social activities that would give residents an opportunity to meet one another in a social atmosphere.
Update:
On Monday, May 13, 2002, we received the paperwork officially recognizing the Duvall Highlands Homeowners Association as a non-profit corporation.
Text Box: The May 11, 2002 meeting was a huge success. A total of 79 residents attended the meeting to discuss reorganizing the association, election of new officers, and the possibility of a park purchase.
Stephanie Cornell gave a presentation about the possibility of the association purchasing the park from the present owner. This presentation is available online at the Duvall Highlands Homeowners Association website at http://dhha.topcities.com.
Upon conclusion of the park purchase presentation, the membership discussed the Text Box: many accomplishments that are necessary to put together the park purchase. The main issue at present is the need for fundraising and for residents to return their DHHA membership applications and dues as soon as possible to be eligible as potential shareholders in the event that we are successful with the purchase of the Duvall Highlands Mobile Home Park. As soon as the DHHA membership applications are received, a Resident Questionnaire will be distributed that will allow residents to sign up as potential shareholders in a possible park purchase.

Text Box: Park Purchase Update
Text Box: The park purchase presentation that was given during the May 11 meeting is now accessible on the DHHA website.
The park owner has not been contacted about the possibility of a park purchase and will not be contacted until the preliminary work has been completed.
Deane Sargent, the representative from the National Foundation of Manufactured Home Owners, Inc., is going to be coming to our area to provide Text Box: us with information about the park purchase and to answer our questions. He has not yet contacted me with the date for this visit. As soon as I am given the date, I will put a meeting announcement on the bulletin board by the mailboxes.
I am still in the process of trying to obtain more information about the park to provide to Deane Sargent so he will be able to create an accurate park analysis and purchase proposal. I would like to have as much information as possible provided to him prior to his visit so he will have accurate information to Text Box: base his analysis on.
I still need information about the water, sewer, and electrical systems inside the park. It has also been brought to my attention that we need to research the park?s pond and retention storm water system to see if they meet the requirements for the sale of the property.
If anyone has access to this information, please contact Stephanie at (425) 844-8634. I would appreciate any help I can get in trying to obtain detailed information on the park.
