Membership Application
The Objectives of this Association
shall be to protect and promote the best interests of the Homeowners and their
respective families, to promote goodwill and a sense of community and
neighborhood between all residents, to work for, actively promoting and
encouraging a strong, mutual and respectful partnership with the park owner and
his/her representatives, to cooperate with the City of Duvall and the County of
King and other civic and public organizations for the general welfare of the
entire community of Duvall Highlands Mobile Home Park. In addition, it is the
purpose and direction of the Homeowners Association to provide support and
referral services to the homeowners and their families to the appropriate legal
and state agencies in regard to homeowners? rights as they pertain to the
Landlord Mobile Home Tenant Act, landlord-tenant disputes and general living
conditions in mobile homes and mobile home communities. When funding is
available, financial assistance may be provided to the homeowner for legal
services in relationship to park related problems/disputes after being brought
to a vote before the elected officials of this Association.
It is also a primary objective of
this Association to create a park purchase proposal to be submitted to the
owners of Duvall Highlands Mobile Home Park. If said proposal is accepted,
conditionally or in its entirety, it will then be the duty of this Association
to create a cooperative of shareholders to purchase the park as per the final
accepted proposal. It will then be the duty of the Association to govern the
cooperative and oversee the functioning of said mobile home park.
