ActivitiesThe Duvall Highlands Homeowners Association periodically sponsors, promotes, and participates in community activities. It has been suggested by several members that they would like to see us schedule a community-wide social event to allow many of the residents the opportunity to meet one another. There have been multiple home sales in the park recently and it would also give the new residents a chance to meet their neighbors and get involved in the association. We do not currently have a Social Director appointed, but would like to appoint someone to the post in the near future. Anyone interested in filling the post of Social Director should contact Bev Cornell in space 75. As owners of manufactured homes, we must perform ongoing maintenance and repairs to keep our homes in good condition. Through group purchasing, we may be able to minimize the cost of some of the materials and services required in maintaining and repairing our homes. A group of association members have arranged to have their driveways resurfaced next spring at a greatly reduced price. The pricing was made possible due to buying in numbers and due to one of the association members working for the contractor. The association also has reached an agreement with a local roofer to provide his labor to members of the Duvall Highlands Homeowners Association at a reduced price.
